Future Transfer Student
We are glad you are interested in continuing your educational journey with us here at the UNM Albuquerque campus. Take some time to explore the degrees UNM has to offer on our Degrees page and familiarize yourself with some of the many resources you will have access to as a UNM student.
Our academic advisors look forward to welcoming you and talking with you about your educational goals. You can find a list of academic advisement offices by going to the Academic Advisement page. When you are ready to talk with an academic advisor, you can schedule an appointment in Student Hub.
Students who have not yet been admitted to UNM may set up a prospective student profile in Student Hub which they can use to connect with advisors to plan for a successful transition. You may want to send your advisor an unofficial copy of your transcript prior to your meeting so they can help you see how your classes may apply.
If you’ve been admitted to UNM and have an active NetID and password, use those credentials to schedule your appointment through Student Hub. This includes new transfer students, branch transition students currently at another UNM campus, and returning/readmit students.
Advisement resources for new transfer and branch transition students include academic advisors in your college/school as well as integrated advisors in the Transfer and Transition Student Center:
