Rooting for your team is one of the most exciting parts of college life! But did you know that students enrolled in at least six credit hours receive a free ticket to all UNM athletic events? Check out for more information on how to access tickets for any of your favorite sports. Students also have access to free shuttles for all football games.
Did you know, you can stay active and meet new people on campus at the same time? Join an Intramural Sports league and get matched with a team or join a UNM Sports and Recreation club to learn a new sport or activity while making new friends!
  • Intramural Sports: Sport activities offered by Recreational Services include flag football, soccer, slow-pitch softball, volleyball. badminton, basketball, golf, tennis, and many others.   • Sports and Recreation Clubs: Student Activities has more than 15 sports and recreation clubs which are instructional and some are competitive against other colleges & universities on a club level (non NCAA sports). These clubs include Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, and Water Polo as well as clubs like Bowling, Mountaineering, Fencing, and Cricket. UNM Lobos have access to one of the largest athletic facilities in Albuquerque for free! Johnson Center offers all types of services to get your swole on including weight and cardio rooms, exercise classes, swimming pool, racquetball courts and iconic Johnson Field. Don’t have the equipment? Johnson Center can lend it to you. Get your bike tuned up in the Bike Shop or get your bod tuned up with a personal trainer.

Whether you are from New Mexico, out of state, or out of country, there are so many things to see and do in the Land of Enchantment. When all of your studying is done, reward yourself with the many places to go and things to do and plan your New Mexico adventure. Learn to snowboard, visit one of the many national monuments in the state, or just relax in some hot springs.
